EVENT SCHEDULE

These are the events which are offered.

Singing

[Event Code:E1]
* You are free to sing any song in any language.
* You can add your singing videos in your post (Youtube /Facebook/ Instagram-igtv)
*Make sure you are using the following hashtags and tags on your post :@engineersconnect #engineersconnect #stackzeal #engineersfest20
* It should be public
* Participants are free to sing in any language and any genre.
* Maximum duration of the rendition should not exceed 2-3 minutes.
* Make sure that your voice should be audible and clear.
* It can be either a visual video or edit a video with a record of your singing along with images in foreground.
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with the name of the song you sang.

* You are free to dance in any song in any language.

Instrument Playing

[Event Code: E3]
* All kinds of instruments are allowed- Wind,String, Percussion Electronics etc.

* It should be public
* Video/Audio files must be performed by applicants and must not be edited in any way, nor should any effects be added.
* If audio alone is submitted, it should be of MP3 format. Participants are responsible for ensuring that video/audio is recorded with good quality(image and sound) and in peaceful surroundings.For video the instrument, face and hands should be early visible.
* Along with the audio, submit an image , like a movie image that matches with your work.

Traditional Dressup

[Event Code: E4]
* The competition is open to all
* Theme should be “State of India”
* You can add your Pics in your post (facebook/ Instagram)
* Make sure you are using the following hashtags and tags on your post :@engineersconnect #engineersconnect #stackzeal #engineersfest20
* Make sure that the dress is to be very traditional
* Your dress up is not to be degrade at any particular traditional/regional
* It should be public
* If you are using a private account,no worries. Kindly fill the form which will be rolled out in Whatsapp Groups where you want to attach your screenshot of your post with hashtags & tags and and how many likes you got on your post.

Poem Battle

[Event Code: E5]
* Poems should be in Hindi or English.
* All poems must have a title and must not exceed 4-8 lines in length (excluding title. * It can be either:
* Hand written (Submit your picture in JPEG or PNG image)
* Digitalised (The font used must be Arial/calibri and font size should be 16. With any background or designs as you wish)
* Poems must be the entrant’s original work.
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with the title of your Poem.

Essay Writing

[Event Code: E6]
* Essay should be in Hindi or English.
* Organize the essay so that it covers a set list of subtopics that each support your main thesis.
* Start paragraphs with opening sentences that explain what the paragraph is going to say.
* Your essay word limit should not exit more than of 500 words (excluding topic)
* Plagiarism of any sort will not be accepted.
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with the title of your essay.

Shayari Writing

[Event Code: E7]
* The competition is open and free to everyone.
* Shayari should be in Hindi or English.

* Shayari must be the entrant's original work with 2-3 lines
* Shayari must have a title.
* Plagiarism of any sort will not be accepted
* It can be either:
* Hand written (Submit your picture in JPEG or PNG image)
* Digitalised (The font used must be Arial/calibri and font size should be 16. With any background or designs as you wish)
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with the title of your shayari.

Quotes Writing

[Event Code: E8]
* The competition is open and free to everyone.
* Quote should be in English & Hindi

* The quote must be your own

* The length of quote is not more than four lines
* Plagiarism must be checked and attach the screenshot while submitting

* Multiple Quotes from one can person can't taken into consideration
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with the title of your Quote.

Paper Presentation

[Event Code: E9]
* You should submit only in PPT form and Your PPT should hold Minimum of 8 slides and Maximum of 10 slides

* One participant for 1 PPT
* English is mandatory language
* Use Calibri/Arial as font style with the font size of 16
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with your institute/college name. * Once your PPT is selected, you have to present your PPT via g-meet in the presence of judges.(14-September-2020).

Innovative Ideas

[Event Code: E10]
* You should submit only in PPT form and Your PPT should hold Minimum of 8 slides and Maximum of 10 slides.
* One participant for 1 PPT
* English is mandatory language
* Use Calibri/Arial as font style with the font size of 16
* You can express your own idea on your startup company or anything as new.
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with your institute/college name.
* Once your PPT is selected, you have to present your PPT via g-meet in the presence of judges.(14-September-2020)

Short Flim

[Event Code: E11]
* The competition is open and free to everyone.
* A team can hold (solo/Couple/Group)
* Theme Should be Engineering & Science
* It can be either in any language or silent short film.
* The film shall not be more than 5 minutes including the beginning and end credits.
* The short film can be based on any subject or concept.
* Keep it practical and minimal.
* Engage your audience with your performance
* You can add your videos in your post (youtube /facebook/ Instagram-igtv)
* Make sure you are using the following hashtags and tags on your post :@engineersconnect #engineersconnect #stackzeal #engineersfest20
* It should be public.
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with your short film name.

Stand-Up Comedy

[Event Code: E12]
* The competition is open and free to everyone.
* It should be in Hindi or English.
* The video should not be more than 10 minutes{for any adjustment contact us}
* If any swear words in the video ,you will be eliminated.
* Participants can add some funny sound effects to their videos for effectiveness.(if required)---not mandatory.
* The whole content of the standup comedy should be of your own.Copying is not entertained.
* You can add your videos in your post (youtube /facebook/ Instagram-igtv)

* It should be public.
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with your College/Institute name.

Photography

[Event Code: E13]
* Your entry can be either Mobile or DSLR photography.
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with your College/Institute name.
* Don’t forget to Keep your photography based on the theme mention on Common Guidelines

Card Making

[Event Code: E14]
*Literals used in the Card should be in English
* Make a E-card ( or hand made cards)
* If Digitalised, Submit yourPoster in JPEG or PNG form and it should be renamed with the name of the participant and Institute
* If Hand made, Submit your work in A3/A4 size sheet, with your name and Institute or college name. After making your Poster, Take a photography of it and it should be in JPEG or PNG form and it should be renamed with the name of the participant and Institute

Poster Making

[Event Code: E15]
* The competition is open and free to everyone.
* It should be in English
* Make a E-card ( or hand made cards)
* If Digitalised, Submit yourPoster in JPEG or PNG form and it should be renamed with the name of the participant and Institute
* If Hand made, Submit your work in A3/A4 size sheet, with your name and Institute or college name. After making your Poster, Take a photography of it and it should be in JPEG or PNG form and it should be renamed with the name of the participant and Institute.

Collage Making

[Event Code: E16]
* The competition is open and free to everyone.
* It should be in English
* Team should consist of only one member.
* Collage can be either digitalized or hand made one
* If Digitalised, Submit your Collage in JPEG or PNG form and it should be renamed with the name of the participant and Institute
* If Hand made, Submit your work in A3/A4 size sheet, with your name and Institute or college name. Use positive and negative shapes. After making your Collage model, Take a photography of it and it should be in JPEG or PNG form and it should be renamed with the name of the participant and Institute
* When submitting the application, mention your full name along with your College/Institute name.

Sketching

[Event Code: E17]
* The competition is open and free to everyone.
* It should be in English
* Theme Should be Engineering & Science.
* The sketch needs to be an original creation,incase any reference picture is taken then the sketch will not consider The sketch needs to be an original creation,incase any reference picture is taken then the sketch will not consider.
* If Digitalised, Submit your Collage in JPEG or PNG form and it should be renamed with the name of the participant and Institute
* If Hand made, Submit your work in A3/A4 size sheet, with your name and Institute or college name. Use positive and negative shapes. After making your Collage model, Take a photography of it and it should be in JPEG or PNG form and it should be renamed with the name of the participant and Institute

Technical Quiz

[Event code :E18]
* The competition is open and free to everyone.
* The quiz will be of half an hour duration.
* There are a total of 20 questions
* Each question carries one mark. No negative marking for wrong answers.
* Questions are of Multiple Choice.
* All questions are mandatory.
* Once you submit the quiz will get a certificate in your given mail id within one week
* You are eligible to get a certificate only when you will score above 70% in the quiz.
* Technical quiz is for all the branches.
* Details of timings will be shared to you in Whatsapp Group.

Non-Technical Quiz

[Event code :E19]
* The competition is open and free to everyone.
* The quiz will be of half an hour duration.
* You can attempt the quiz only once.
* There are a total of 20 questions
* Each question carries one mark. No negative marking for wrong answers.
* Questions are of Multiple Choice.
* All questions are mandatory.
* Once you submit the quiz will get a certificate in your given mail id within one week
* You are eligible to get a certificate only when you will score above 70% in the quiz.
* Non-technical quiz includes questions from popular movies which are related to engineers.
* Details of timings will be shared to you in Whatsapp Group.
